QV Terminal Guides

Find the right guide from the screen in front of you

Search the label, setting, indicator, order control or task you are looking at. Guides jump to the exact section and keep the explanation visual, so setup, market read and execution stay easy to follow.

Fast entry

Search any control, setting or task

Type the words you see in the terminal. Results understand indicators, buttons, settings panels and workflow terms, then open the correct guide target directly.

The page is organized around real QV Terminal workflows: setup, market read, pressure confirmation, depth check, chart planning, execution and review.

QV Terminal chart workspace with Trade panel and DepthX

Board tab guide

Board tab

Boards let you build a market workspace once, save the chart and window layout, then return to it without reopening the same tools by hand.

QV Terminal supports up to 10 Boards. A saved Board can remember the master chart plus up to 9 additional Chart or DepthX windows.

Symbol & timeframe guide

Symbol & timeframe

Set the contract and candle interval first. QV Terminal uses that context for candles, market layers, DepthX, the Trade panel quote asset and saved Board state.

Change the symbol when the market itself changes. Change the timeframe when you need a different candle structure. After either change, let the chart and connected panels reload before reading context or planning execution.

Symbol picker

Search the futures contract, filter by USDT or USDC, and select the pair that should drive the chart, DepthX and Trade panel.

QV Terminal symbol picker with futures search, USDT and USDC filters
  • The picker shows active futures pairs and can filter favorites.
  • Selecting a pair changes market data and quote asset context.
  • Saved Boards can restore the selected symbol with the layout.

Timeframe dropdown

Choose the candle interval QV should use for the active chart before reading layers or planning execution.

QV Terminal timeframe dropdown with minutes, hours, days, weeks and months group
  • Minutes, hours and day/week/month groups use the same menu as the terminal.
  • Changing timeframe reloads candles and recalculates timeframe-scoped context.
  • Saved Boards can restore the selected timeframe with the workspace.

Indicator bar guide

Indicator bar

The indicator bar is the market-context switchboard. Use it to open the layer that answers the next question, then return to a clean chart before the screen turns noisy.

Guides explain how to read context and operate QV Terminal. Market layers do not replace a trade plan, risk control or execution discipline.

Show Indicators

The indicator bar controls which chart tools stay visible, so the workspace keeps only the buttons needed for the current read.

    Settings

Settings define what appears in the toolbar and how the indicator controls stay organized.

      Chart workspace guide

      Chart workspace

The chart workspace is the decision surface: price action, market layers, drawings, current price, time scale and chart-side execution context meet in one place.

This guide uses a real QV Terminal chart capture. Hover a chart area to read its role; click an area to keep that explanation fixed while you inspect the screen.

      Drawing toolbar guide

      Drawing toolbar

The left toolbar keeps manual chart work close to price: levels, zones, Fibonacci tools, position planning, alerts, cleanup, measurement and magnetic snap.

Click a tool to preview its guide. Left-click activates placement. Right-click the toolbar icon opens saved templates or settings where supported; double-click an existing object to edit it. Right-click a placed object to lock or unlock it.

      Segment

Draw a measured line between two chart points. Use it for structure, trend references or a clean manual mark.

        Settings / templates

Right click opens saved templates or settings where the selected drawing supports a separate configuration panel.

          Bottom context bar guide

          Bottom context bar

The lower bar keeps flow, leverage, positioning, session and time context directly under the chart. It gives a fast market read without opening extra indicator windows or turning the workspace into noise.

Use this bar as the quick pressure check before you open a deeper layer. Each widget answers one narrow question; the final decision still comes from price action, risk control and execution discipline.

          Bottom context visibility

The eye controls which bottom-context widgets stay visible, so the lower bar can show only the pressure and timing tools you actually use.

            Settings

Open the eye panel to show, hide and arrange bottom-context widgets without changing the market data or chart state.

              Trade panel guide

              Trade panel

The Trade panel keeps order planning, Position Size (P SIZE), Smart Limit behavior, TP/SL logic, checklist discipline and connection state beside the chart.

Guides explain how to operate QV Terminal. Execution tools help structure the order workflow; they do not replace risk control or a trading plan.

              Click a Trade Panel block

Inspect every control without leaving the guide

Hover a block in the Trade panel for the overview. Click it to unlock the exact buttons, rows and chart tablets that belong to that block.

              Select a control

After a panel block is fixed, hover or click a control in this card to read the precise behavior.

              Active checklist run

Open the active checklist before execution, mark each rule and let flagged items slow the decision down when the setup needs extra confirmation.

QV Terminal active checklist run window
              • Progress shows completed items against the active template.
              • Flagged items arm first, then unlock after the selected Flag Delay.
              • With Require checklist enabled, TRADE stays closed until completion.
              • Completion unlocks execution according to the selected validity mode.

              Checklist settings

Build the rule set once, choose how long completion remains valid and decide which checklist items deserve a deliberate pause.

              QV Terminal checklist settings window
              • Create, rename, select and delete checklist templates for different trading routines.
              • Validity can unlock one trade, N trades or the current session after completion.
              • Flag Delay makes important items wait from 5 seconds up to 5 minutes before they can be confirmed.
              • Reset clears progress, lock state and remaining trade validity across the main window and child windows.

              DepthX guide

              DepthX

DepthX reads the live order book, executed flow, context trust, pressure and liquidity events in one focused depth window beside the chart. Server depth loading opens the ladder at full available depth without local warm-up.

This guide uses a real DepthX capture. Click a highlighted area to pin its explanation and read how that part of the depth window should be interpreted.
